Daniel Ward
Co-founder and Owner
Dan Ward is co-founder and owner of NutPowered, where he is responsible for managing the day-to-day business of the company, in addition to providing project management, business analysis, and software development services for clients. Prior to founding NutPowered with Rob Richards in 2009, Dan worked for several years as a consultant and employee for brewing giant MillerCoors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dan has a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining applications created using Microsoft technologies, as well as experience in Java, PHP, and other open source platforms. He also serves as President of the St. Francis Association of Commerce, and as a director on the boards of the Cudahy Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Kung Fu Center of Milwaukee. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an emphasis on information systems, and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.
Robert Richards
Co-founder and Owner
Rob Richards is co-founder and owner of NutPowered and is responsible for the company's technical direction and development, as well as software development and consulting services. Rob has an extensive software engineering background, which includes technologies such as Java, PHP, and the Microsoft .NET suite. He actively researches and experiments with emerging technologies for potential use in client applications. Previously, he was programmer/analyst for the City of Milwaukee's Information Technology Management division, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining applications built using Java and Microsoft technologies. Rob enjoys developing software using open source platforms and technologies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
